Our little cutie pie was born May 8 at 8:40pm.
She weighed 7lb. 6oz. and was 19 1/2" long.
We named her Emmy Alice.
We are so blessed to have such a sweet spirit in our home. Where we are lacking in sleep, we are overflowing with the joy of her arrival.
This little babe has quite the lungs!
Our family of 3. We can't figure out who she looks like yet.
Here we are headed for home, on Mother's Day. I couldn't have asked for a better Mother's Day present.
I know they say that when babies smile it's usually gas. I don't believe that for a second. Emmy doesn't just smile in her sleep, she smiles when you talk to her and kiss her cheeks and nose. Her smile gets so big sometimes you can see a little dimple on her left cheek. I think she'd laugh if she could too!
Daisy loves her little sister. She likes to be close by all the time. She follows us when we change Emmy's diaper, sits by me when I feed her and she even cries when Emmy cries...that isn't so cute sometimes. Daisy is Emmy's little protector.
Our first walk. I like to take her out when she's already alseep so I don't get too far from home when she starts crying. I'm still trying to figure out what all her cries mean and how to make her happy.
Yup, she already has a binkie. They gave it to her in the hospital, which I thought was kind of weird. Oh well, it's something that calms her and I can take it away when she gets older. I think she looks cute sucking on it anyway!
WE ARE SO HAPPY TO HAVE EMMY IN OUR HOME! I may be biased, but I think she's the most beautiful baby ever!

Congrats! I have been waiting for a long time for this post! She looks like Brian to me through the eyes? maybe... I am so very happy for you and can't wait to see Emmy in real life!
Sandy,
She is beautiful!!! I am so excited for your family expansion!!!! I am sure you're a wonderful mother. I think she looks more like Brian but..... I'd have to see your baby pictures!
Hospitals routinely give babies pacifiers, unless the mother specifically asks them not to. I am a BELIEVER in the paci-- both my boys used it (Hadders still does). My philosophy is: I can take a paci away, I cannot cut off their finger/thumb!
Congratulations again, she is gorgeous!!!!
You got such GREAT pictures of her!!! It was so fun to meet her last week - you got yourself a cute one :-) Enjoy!!
What a beautiful family you have! I love the bows and the red hat! Congratulations!
