This has been ONE BUSY MONTH!  Instead of taking photos, reading a book while the girls are sleeping, blogging, enjoying the sunshine more, going for walks or checking off many things on our "summer fun" list we have been:

scrubbing

fixing

painting

sweeping

cleaning

de-junking

fixing more

cleaning more...

because we put our HOUSE UP FOR SALE!  WOW!  It's been hard work but I think it'll pay off!  It's first full day on the market was last Tuesday and by last Friday we had an offer and it is under contract!  The buyers have to sell their place first, but it sounds promising.  Some of our friends know the family who put in the offer and I really hope all goes as planned and they are able to purchase our home.  It's been super hard getting ready emotionally to leave this house and especially our wonderful neighborhood, but knowing a nice little family may be the future owners makes my heart smile.

So, needless to say it's been crazy around here!  We have been able to squeeze in some fun though.  I'd like to blog about it now, but I can hear Bailey stirring in her bed.  Man, "me-time" is hard to come by these days!

Saturday my mom, sis and my girls and I packed up and went on a little road trip!  We did some swimsuit shopping, home decor shopping, driving around looking at old beautiful homes, picnicked on a church lawn and just had a great time!

On our way home we stopped at my most favorite relatives home for some BBQ and visiting on the patio.  We really need to get together with this fabulous bunch more often!

Emmy had so much fun with Shelby and her bunny, Thumper!

She even got to take it for a walk, or should I say "hop!"  Poor bunny, Emmy tried to drag it around!

It was a perfect evening for chatting and holding the baby!

If I put a blanket on the floor for Bailey to lay on, Emmy needs to lay on it too.

If I put Bailey on the couch, Emmy has to lay by her so they can kick.

If I lay Emmy on a pillow on my bed, Emmy needs to lay on it too.

So, not surprising that when I wanted to quickly bathe Bailey in the kitchen sink, Emmy needed to "bathe" too...

and of course Emmy had to stick her tongue out for a picture because Bailey did!

I just can't get over how Bailey looks at Emmy!  She grins when she hears Emmy and smiles when she sees her walk by.  It is so special to see how much they love each other already.
