The thing that seems to keep my mind (and Brian and I) the most occupied is our home. It's at the point where all the details, colors, personal touches...are coming together. As a matter of fact, it scares me to death!
As fun as it is to be living so close to the build, I almost wish we were thousands of miles away so I couldn't drive by all the time checking, double checking, triple checking on how things are coming together or doubting my latest decision. This is stressful!
I don't doubt these guys all know what they are doing, but of course I have to panic if I see something that doesn't look right...and OF COURSE it's something they just hadn't got around to finishing or perfecting yet. I'm sure our builder is about tired of me- thank goodness he is a patient easy going guy!
But it's looking good, really good! Brian put down tile today and the first of next week we get cabinets. The goal is still to be in before March. I can't wait! I keep decorating the house in my mind (and on Pinterest) and am ready to dive in...that's if I have any money left for decorating!

Woohoo!! It's looking good Sandy! I hope you get to move in as soon as you are planning. I'll be excited to come and see it when I come up to visit!
i remember those days all to well and they weren't very long ago. everything looks great - can't wait to see the finished product!
